What you get with this template.
- One link, first door to last. Your social and email teams share the same link all campaign, so nobody lands on an old one.
- A reason to come back. Each door unlocks automatically on its date, and can shut or hide again when you choose.
- Anything behind any door. A prize draw, a spin to win, a quiz, content or any link you want people to visit.
- On your own website. Embed it in a page on your site or app, or share it in an email, a link in bio or a QR code.
- Doors you can sell. Give each door to a different sponsor, or one sponsor the whole calendar.
- Contacts you own. Every entry adds a consented contact to your database, ready for your new-year campaigns.

Your questions, answered
What is a digital advent calendar?
A digital advent calendar is a branded page with a door for each day, where every door unlocks a competition, offer or content on its date. Brands and clubs run one through December or in the countdown to any big moment, and every entry adds a consented contact to your database.
Advent calendar, 12 days of Christmas or a weekly competition?
All three run from this template, with as many doors as you need, so pick the one your team can keep fresh. An advent calendar opens a door every day of December. The 12 days of Christmas packs the same idea into a shorter burst, with bigger prizes. A weekly competition opens one door every Friday.
Can we use one link for the whole campaign?
One link covers the whole campaign. Doors unlock automatically on the calendar people already have, so your social and email teams share the same link from the first door to the last. Past doors can stay open, shut or hide, and anyone who clicks an older post or email still lands in the right place.
What can go behind each door?
Any campaign from the campaign builder can sit behind a door, such as a prize draw, a spin to win, a quiz or a discount code. A door can also open content, a video or any link you choose, like a product page or ticket sale, so the calendar can sell as well as collect entries.
Can we embed it on our website?
The calendar embeds in any page of your website or app, so people open each door without leaving your site. You can share the same link in an email, a link in bio or a QR code too, and every route leads to the same calendar.
Can we use it outside Christmas?
The calendar works for any countdown. Run it in the days before a grand final or a season launch, through a product launch week or around Black Friday. Set as many doors and dates as the moment needs, and keep the same branded calendar on one link.
Is it built on a proven template?
The calendar is built on Omnihub, our hub template that brings several digital experiences together in one branded page. At Race of Champions Sydney, four campaigns sat in one hub behind one QR code, converting 35 to 40% of impressions into hub engagement. Football Australia and Allianz used a hub to bring many activations together for the Socceroos at the FIFA World Cup.
How long does it take to set up?
A typical campaign takes 20 to 40 minutes to build from a template, depending on how much content you add, and most go live in under an hour. Most of the work is loading what sits behind each door. You build it in your brand without developers or designers, and Copilot gives you people from our team when you're short on time.
Where does the entry data go?
Advent calendar data is captured with consent on every entry and goes straight into your CRM or marketing tools through built-in integrations such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Klaviyo and Data Talks. Webhooks send entries as people submit to any tool that accepts them, Zapier connects over 2,000 apps, and you can export it too. Campaignware is GDPR compliant and encrypts data in transit and at rest, so the contacts stay yours.
